Wind speed is indicated by the color of the line. There's a legend at the very top and near the Wind Plot checkbox. The Green is 10 mph, yellow is 20 mph, orange is 30 mph, red is 40 mph, and blue is 50 mph. The NASA-Firms map:;d:2020-09-25..2020-09-26;@-105.7,40.7,12z  For the last, use the Streets background. At the very bottom is a measurement tool, that Ruler icon. Also, at the bottom is a timeline. You can use the light blue bar to change the display to only reflect data from a certain time period - i.e., just that day's hot spots.
